According to incomplete statistics, electric shock accidents and fires caused by electric leakage in China every year result in thousands of deaths and billions of economic losses. Therefore, higher requirements have been put forward for the performance of electric leakage protectors that can prevent electric leakage fires and personal electric shock protection. The automatic testing system for the action characteristics of leakage protection devices introduced in this article can measure the leakage action current value, breaking time, and leakage non action current value of leakage protection devices, providing the main technical parameters for improving the reliability of leakage protection device operation. The detection process has a high level of automation and can detect both online and offline operation of leakage protection devices.
The system is based on LPC2132 and has modules for generating and regulating extended test currents, action execution units, current detection circuits, and peripheral devices such as keyboards. LPC2132 is a microcontroller that supports real-time simulation and tracking of 32-bit ARM7TDMI-S cores, with 1 10 bit 8-channel A/D converter, 2 32-bit timers/counters, 6 PWM unit outputs, 2 hardware I2C interfaces and 47 GPIO, 2 16C550 industrial standard UART, and up to 9 edge or level triggered external interrupts. 16kB of on-chip static RAM and 64kB of on-chip Flash program memory avoid LPC2132 external expansion memory, simplify the circuit, and improve running speed.
